lingering feelings for someone; regret (about not having done something in the past)

Synonym

後ろ髪を引かれる, 後悔

Additional Info

It is often used when you have lingering feelings for your old flame. It is also used when you have regrets about not having something you wanted to do. When it is used as 未練タラタラ, it becomes an adjective that describes someone who has such feelings/regrets.

Example

昔の恋人にまだ未練がある
I still have lingering feelings for my old flame
彼は元カノに未練タラタラだ
He is still in love with his ex gf
