Additional Info

There is a famous Japanese manga/anime called “モテキ (moteki)” (and also its film and TV series). In the story, the main character, a man who is about to turn 30 and has never had a girlfriend, suddenly experiences his moteki and becomes very popular with many girls (e.g. contacted by some of his old female friends).

Example

モテ期はいつ来(く)るんだろう…
I wonder when I become popular with guys/girls…
