nostalgic filter (“懐かしフィルター”)は、まさに過去の思い出や出来事を美化してしまう現象のことです (「懐かしい気持ち」は “nostalgic feeling” です)。 rosy retrospection は「薔薇色の回顧」という意味でnostalgic filter 似た意味ですが、あまり一般的な表現ではありません。see … through rose-coloured (or rose-tinted) glasses は「…の良い所のみを見る、美化する」という意味。embellished memories は「盛られた、美化された記憶」で、 glorify は「美化する」という動詞の名詞形。昔の（思い出補正込みで）良かったと思う時代 を “glory days” や “good old days” (古き良き時代) 等と言います。 そして、overestimateは「過大評価する」、reminisceは「（昔の良い思い出に）ふける」です。まぁこれだけ表現があるということは、英語圏の人も思い出補正しがちだということですね。笑
