日本語には「それな<\/a>」「りょ」「おけ」など同意や賛成を表す様々な表現が存在しますが、同様に英語にも様々な表現があります。この記事では、そんな表現を一言解説をそえて簡単に紹介します。いつも “I see” や “OK” では味気なく聞こえるので、たまには新しい表現も使ってみてはいかがでしょうか。<\/p>\n

「わかった」「なるほど」<\/h2>\n

I see\/understand<\/h3>\n

「なるほど」という時の定番な表現です。<\/p>\n

I got it<\/h3>\n

「わかった」という意味です。現在完了の I’ve got it もよく使います。主語のIが省略されることも多いです。<\/p>\n

I got you\/Gotcha<\/h3>\n

こちらも「わかった」という意味です。先ほどと同様、ここでの get は「わかる」という意味で、直訳すると「あなたのことがわかったよ」になります。３単語の発音を縮めて”Gotcha”とだけ言うことも多いです。<\/p>\n

fair enough<\/h3>\n

あまり日本人には知られていない表現ですが、「なるほどね」「じゃあ仕方ないね」と思った時の相槌としてかなり頻繁に使われます<\/strong>（少なくともオーストラリアでは）。ここでの fair は形容詞で「公平な、正当な」なので、直訳すると 「（理屈、理由が）⼗分正当だ」という意味です。<\/p>\n

I’m with you<\/h3>\n

直訳すると「あなたといるよ\/一緒だよ」で、相手の言い分に対して理解を示すときに使います。<\/p>\n

agreed<\/h3>\n

チャット上で「賛成」や「そうだね」と言うときに一言でよく使います。<\/p>\n

noted<\/h3>\n

note 「ノートを取る\/書き留める」と言う動詞から派生した返事で、「わかった」「了解した」「（頭の中で）メモった」のように、チャット上で相手への了解を示すときに使われます。<\/p>\n

seconded<\/h3>\n

あまり知られていませんが、secondは動詞で「支持する」や「心に留める」という意味になります。そのため、seconded は「了承した」のような同意を表す（ややフォーマルめの）返答となります。<\/p>\n

「オッケー」「もちろん」「当たり前じゃん」<\/h2>\n

sure<\/h3>\n

何か頼まれた時とかに、OKと同じ感覚で使われます。<\/p>\n

I know right? (ikr)<\/h3>\n

直訳すると「（私も）知ってる、だよな？」で、相手に強く賛成するときに使います。若い感じがするので、日本語の「それな<\/a>！」と語感が近い気がします。 チャットでは ikr<\/strong>とよく略されます。<\/p>\n

okidoki\/okey-dokey<\/h3>\n

OKを少しふざけて言う表現で、友達とのくだけた会話やチャットとかで使えます。okey-dokeyのように韻を踏む表現を英会話で使うと少しお茶目な感じが出せるので、ぜひ使ってみてください。<\/p>\n

all right\/alright\/alrighty<\/h3>\n

全てを了承したときに使います。alrightyが一番カジュアルな表現です。<\/p>\n

definitely\/absolutely\/of course<\/h3>\n

「当たり前じゃん！」「もちろん！」のように、ノリよく了承するときに使います。of courseは チャット上では ofc とよく略されます。また、イギリス・オーストラリア英語では、definitelyをdefo と略すことがよくあります。“Why not?”<\/strong> と言う表現（なぜノーと言うのか、する・やるに決まってるじゃん！）も意味が似ています。<\/p>\n

Roger\/Roger that<\/h3>\n

日本語でいう「ラジャー」ですね。元々はラジオ通信などで相手のメッセージがこちらにちゃんと伝わったことを示す時に使う用語で、R<\/strong>eceivedのR<\/strong>から生まれた単語です。転じて、現代でもチャットのメッセージなどで「OK」の変わりに使われることがあります。正直、これまでの表現と比べてあまり一般的ではありませんが、有名な表現なので意味が伝わらないということは恐らくないと思います。<\/p>\n

「賛成」「（相手の誘い、提案に）のった！」<\/h2>\n

I’m in<\/h3>\n

文字通り、「相手の提案に入る（参加する、のる）」と言う意味です。グループチャットで「誰か行きたい人？」などのような投稿への返答でよく使います。似た表現に count me in<\/strong> (私を数に入れといて・参加で) があります。<\/p>\n

I’m up\/down for ~<\/h3>\n

こちらも I’m in と同様に「〜に賛成！」「〜の話にのった」と相手の提案に賛同する時に使います。不思議なことにupもdownも使われますが、upの方が使用頻度は高いです。I’m down with ~<\/strong> とも。<\/p>\n

I’m keen<\/h3>\n

上記の表現と同様、相手の誘いにのるときに使う意味です。より一般的には、be keen to do ~「〜することを切望する」「めっちゃ〜したい」としてよく使われます。keen は形容詞なので、”I’m very\/really\/so keen<\/strong>” のように意味を強調することができます。<\/p>\n

I’m game<\/h3>\n

あまり有名でない表現ですが、「賛成」「（話に）のった」という意味のイディオムで辞書にも載っています。イギリス人がチャットで使っているのを一度見たことがあります。<\/p>\n
