the phenomenon that the main characters in a game, manga or anime have incredibly good luck or possess much more dominant power than their enemies

Additional Info

For instance, the main character in anime often survives “deadly attacks” from his/her opponent thanks to this superpower. When this effect is too obvious, many people find it unrealistic and tasteless/boring.

Example

この漫画は主人公補正が酷すぎてマジで面白くない
The main character in this manga never loses and it’s so boring.
