It is often used as “一喜一憂しないで” or “一喜一憂せずに”, meaning “do not feel overly delighted or depressed by just one thing” when you make yourself stay motivated.

Example

この結果は非常に嬉しいですが、一喜一憂せずに今後も頑張ろうと思います。
I’m very happy with this outcome, but I’ll keep making effort without feeling overly delighted by this.
